Happy New Year! 2012 is going to be another wonderful and blessed year! It has been a privilege to read the Christmas updates from the missionaries and their families and how God is working in their lives really ALL over the world!! We invite you to visit our blog often, as it is constantly updated and the place to find the most accurate information about your missionaries.
I hope that all of you are aware of the name change from Westlink Christian Church to Pathway Church as of January 1, 2012.
Our new name, Pathway Church, will help us stay focused. Every time we say our new name, we’ll be reminded that Jesus Christ is the only pathway to God. It will challenge us to ask “Are we growing in our relationship with Jesus, living in authentic community with other believers and giving our lives to help others become fully devoted followers of Christ?”
Our goal is to do our part in God’s mission, to share the life-changing message of Jesus with those who are far from God. We are “plan A”…there is no “plan B”. It takes each of us investing creativity, time and energy to tell those in our sphere of influence who Jesus is and how He has changed our lives.
Our new name helps all of us get on board with inviting and bringing new people to church, whether we’re worshipping at the Westlink campus (21 St & Maize Rd) or the new Goddard Campus (Goddard High School) which launches February 5, 2012.
As we continue the journey of becoming a multi-site church, one church with multiple locations, God is challenging us to become more fully committed and fully engaged with HIS mission for each one of us. He has shown Himself to be faithful in every way….may we do the same.
